Andromeda will take you on one of four spectacular safaris around the Sudanese waters just like her sister boat the Cassiopeia. With 2 more twin cabins than the Cassiopeia and only 2 queen cabins the Andromeda can accommodate more solo guests in the same luxury. With four levels this boat is able to accommodate twenty six passengers with ease and with a European salon, an Arabian café and a one hundred square metre sun deck you will never be short of places to relax onboard. The fact that this boat is larger than many others means that the sail is very smooth and can reach each dive site easier and quicker to allow each guest more time exploring. You will never be short of things to see as on many of these dives you will encounter hammerhead sharks, pristine wrecks and stunning coral reefs to name a few.
Andromeda has thirteen cabins all with en-suite facilities and air conditioning. It has a large air conditioned lounge area, known as the European salon which has an LCD TV/VCR, DVD and a CD player. The sun deck is one hundred square metres with comfortable deck chairs and cushioned seats. There is also a covered deck in front of the salon where guests may relax in between dives and in the evening. Sha’ab Ambar is an enormous reef in the shape of a horseshoe with a large azure lagoon. Situated on the Suakin Archipelago this has been quoted as being one of the best areas ever dived in the Red Sea. Sanganeb is a National Park consisting of approximately 124 coral reefs. Its lighthouse which resembles the Eiffel Tower, sits in the middle of the sea. It is protected by Sudanese soldiers who are on duty 24/7 each for about 4 months at a time. They welcome every visitor to this spectacular area. Vertical gorges cut through the rocks of these reefs and lush corals spread across like a tropical jungle. The abundance of fish is spectacular at every one of these sites and schools of sharks can be seen gliding by.
The Pinnacle is huge coral formation that rises up to about 12m. It is a very exposed area and the strong currents make is the perfect place for schooling hammerheads, oceanics and grey sharks as well as tuna and rays. These Sudanese waters offer superb visibility with crystal clear waters on occasion. The reef structure also provides spectacular corals if you can tear your eyes away from the sharks.
