The S/Y Philippine Siren was built on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi in 2008 offering year round trips to the Philippines. She has the same specifications as her sister boats, the S/Y Palau Siren and the S/Y Indo Siren. She was built by divers for divers ensuring every thought for the modern day diver was taken into account. The crew members aboard are friendly, fun, experienced and offer an attentive personal service making your trip a memorable one, they are also there to answer any questions or queries you may have regarding the boat or the itinerary. The 8 large air conditioned cabins aboard are either fixed double or twin bedded however two of the cabins are flexible to suit the needs of guests. All cabins come with its own TV/DVD, en-suite bathrooms, reading lights, cupboards, safety box, hairdryer and towels. The spacious air conditioned lounge has a cocktail bar, TV and movie network, sofas and a library whilst the sun deck has cushioned loungers making both of these areas the perfect places to relax after a long day’s diving. The al fresco dining area is a comfortable place to sit offering a great setting to enjoy all your meals. The S/Y Philippine Siren has specialised features aboard for keen photographers and videographers. The shaded dive deck offers designated areas for charging and preparing your camera and video equipment, individual stations and personal storage drawers. There are large rinse tanks with fresh water solely for camera and video equipment with an indoor work station provided for maintenance of cameras and equipment. Basic Aqua Lung scuba equipment is provided free of charge with sizing requests being made at the time of booking (BCD, regulator, 3mm wetsuit, mask, fins and SMB).

There is flexibility with 2 cabins which can be converted from twin to double should guests require (cabins 5 & 6).
Route Description - Tubbataha
Gorgeous reefs and extraordinary marine life
The reefs of Tubbataha consist of vertical walls or near drop off's rising out of great depths where hammerheads, thresher sharks and whale sharks can be seen. The shallow reef tops are teeming with colourful reef fish whilst at many dive sites stingrays, spiny lobsters, immature manta rays and turtles are found. Dive sites include: Delsan Wreck, Black Rock, Washing Machine, North East Wall and Malayan Wreck.

This pristine coral reef system showcases a variety of structures and is teeming with life, promising incredible dives!
The Tubbataha reef system covers 970 square km with 100 square km of pristine coral reefs supporting over 600 different fish and 300 coral species for divers to explore. These reefs consist of vertical walls and drop offs rising out of great depths where reef, grey, silky, hammerheads, tiger, thresher sharks and whale sharks can be seen. The shallow reef tops are teeming with colourful reef fish as well as stingrays, spiny lobsters, manta rays and turtles. Combining the guaranteed thresher sightings at Malapascua and the delights of the Visayas, an incredible adventure is waiting!
One the many dive sites visited on this itinerary is Monad Shoal - one of the few dive spots in the World where the shy pelagic thresher sharks may be seen on a daily basis. Gato Island is a Marine Reserve and sea snake sanctuary and provides a diverse range of marine life; cuttlefish can be seen performing their mating rituals whilst plethora of macro critters cover the sea floor. Malapascua Wrecks are a haven for marble and blue spotted stingrays and home to schools of sweetlips. These are just a few of the many amazing sites visited on this route. Route Description - Southern Visayas
The Visayas region is home to some of the best diving in the Philippines, with its nutrient rich water supporting a variety of eco-systems and a wide diversity of marine life.
This itinerary will take you to Cabilao Island which is home to some of the best diving in the Philippines particularly for sightings of hammerhead sharks. Apo Island is another exciting destination you will visit while aboard the S/Y Philippine Siren. Dumaguete on Negros Island allows possible sightings of frogfish, ornate ghost pipe fish as well as many other small critters. The Pier is a fantastic dive and offers the opportunity to see the beautiful mandarin fish. Olongo Island, Capitancillo Island and Mactan Island all offer the possibility of seeing hammerhead sharks and whale sharks. Route Description - Visayas: Southern Leyte & Malapascua
The itinerary involves some long-distance travel. Whilst to ensure the number of dives we have scheduled is fulfilled; bad weather can hinder the yacht’s ability to reach a specific dive site in good time. The safety of our guests on board is paramount and we always do our best to offer diving al alternative locations, should we be unable to visit those sites listed below.
Your cruise director will schedule up to 4 dives per day, 3 dives and either a sunset or a night dive. A typical diving day is scheduled as follow: Light Breakfst followed by a briefing and 1 dive Full Breakfast, relaxation followed by briefing & 1 dive 2 Lunch, relaxation followed by 1 briefing & dive 3 Snack Briefing for Sunset or night dive Dinner Generally, we schedule 2 dives on your final dive day to allow time for off gassing. To remain on the safe side, we kindly request our guest to check their own flight times and ensure that they leave a minimum of 24 hours between their final dive and their return flight. Guest are welcomed to suggest preferred dive sites to the Cruise Director. Sogod Bay: - Napanatao Fish Sanctuary, San Francisco; Santa Paz Sanctuary; Son-ok Point, Pintuayn. Whale Sharks in Southern Leyte - whale sharks have been visiting the coast of Pintuyan and Liloan for decades. The whale’s sharks come to Pintuayan and Liloan to forage on zooplankton blooms that happens close to the shore, normally copepods or sergestid shrimp. If there is enough food for them, they tend to stick around for a while. Some of them even stay a full season (that can last 1 to 6 months).
