Route Description - Best of Komodo in 5 Nights

Embark on an unforgettable 6-day diving adventure aboard Moana, exploring the stunning Komodo National Park. Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Labuan Bajo and a check dive at Sebayur Kecil, followed by a night dive. The second day takes you to Tatawa Besar, Batu Bolong, and Manta Point, with a night dive at Gila Lawa Darat. Day 3 features exhilarating dives at Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, and the Cauldron, with a night dive back at Gili Lawa Darat. On Day 4, explore the Golden Passage, Tatawa Kecil, and Siaba Kecil, before heading south to Rinca Island for a night dive at Wainilu. The final day includes a trek to see the Komodo dragons, additional dives, and a sunset view of the spectacular Kalong Island before returning to Labuan Bajo for your departure. This itinerary offers a perfect blend of diverse dive sites, unique wildlife encounters, and breathtaking natural beauty.

Day 1
Welcome to your Moana holiday! We will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Labuan Bajo. After a welcome drink we will fit and check your equipment. Once all guests are on board we will set course towards the island of Sebayur Kecil. After lunch we will do our check dive where guests and guides can get used to each other. We are planning a night dive after the sunset. We will stay at Sebayur for the night.

Day 2
Our first dive of today will be at Tatawa Besar, where you can expect a nice drift. After breakfast we will head towards the center of the park and visit Batu Bolong, a dramatic formation that extends underwater and is full or marine life. After lunch we will dive at Manta Point for a close encounter with those gentle giants. The night dive will be at Gila Lawa Darat, where we also stay for the night. If you don’t fancy night dives, then we recommend a nice sunset walk up the hill.

Day 3
We will wake up early to make our way towards the northern most part of the National Park. Castle Rock is an underwater pinnacle and often subject to vari- ous currents. This is usually one of the highlights or the trip and we are likely to see some sharks here. Our second dive will be at Crystal Rock, a beautifully covered formation. In the afternoon we will dive the Cauldron, a channel between the island of Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut. We will stay overnight in North Komodo with a night dive at Gili Lawa Darat.

Day 4
Another exciting day today as we start today at the Golden Passage, another channel between Komodo and Gili Lawa Darat. After breakfast we’ll head back south towards the center of the park. We will stop at Tatawa Kecil and Siaba Kecil. Both sides have a beautiful topography and lots or marine life. Ex-pect some currents here as well. After those three dives we will continue south towards Rinca Island. Our night dive will be at Wainilu, where you can expect some amazing critters du- ring the muck night dive.

Day 5
In the morning we will visit the ranger station on Rinca Island for a short trek to visit the famous Komodo dragons, the largest lizards on earth. Accompanied by a ranger, we have a chance to get close up with these prehistoric creatures. After breakfast we are planning 1 or 2 more dives (depending on your flight the next day) at Wainilu or Tengah Kecil. On the way back to Flores we will pass Kalong Island, where a natural spectacle will take place every evening during sunset. A truly impressive event! Surprise!

Day 6
Depending on your flight back to Bali, we will sail to Labuan Bajo early morning for a planned check-out at 11:00. Of course we will drop you of at the airport (or your hotel in Labuan Bajo). We guarantee you a fantastic time aboard Moana and look forward to welcoming you again!

Route Description - Komodo Highlights in 4 Nights

Embark on an unforgettable Moana holiday with a five-day diving adventure in Komodo National Park. Starting in Labuan Bajo, enjoy a welcome drink and equipment check before setting sail for Sebayur Kecil for a check dive and night dive. Explore Tatawa Besar, Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Siaba Besar, or Siaba Kecil on Day 2, followed by dives at The Cauldron or The Golden Passage and a night dive at Gili Lawa Darat. Day 3 features the northern pinnacles of Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, with a night dive at Wainilu near Rinca Island. On Day 4, visit Rinca Island for a trek to see Komodo dragons, then dive at Wainilu or Tengah Kecil. Conclude the trip with a sunset spectacle at Kalong Island and a return to Labuan Bajo for check-out. Enjoy the diverse marine life and natural wonders aboard Moana.

Day 1

Day 2
Our first dive of the day, will be around the area of Tatawa Besar, where you can expect nice drift dive to get used to the current in the National Park. After breakfast we will head towards the Center of the park. The Centre has many different options which suits all level of divers and offers amazing dive sites such as Batu Bolong (known for the dramatic formation that extends underwater and is full or marine life, Manta Point or Mauan (for the giants) Siaba Besar or Siaba Kecil (for Turtles or drifting). We will plan for you the best place according to current and your level. Our lunch we enjoy in a calm nice bay, where you can jump from the boat and have some rest before we heading to the north for our afternoon around Gili Lawa at either The Cauldron, a channel between the island of Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut or The Golden Passage is another channel dive between Komodo and Gili Lawa Darat before Gila Lawa Darat offers us a fanatic macro dive and are protected for a good night of rest.

Day 3
The first two dives will be the highlight of the North, as we are likely to see some sharks here. Castle Rock/Crystal Rock are (underwater) pinnacle and often subject to various currents and a beautifully covered formation. After lunch we heading back to the South, Rinca Island, with a stop in the central for the afternoon dive and will spend the night at Rinca Island, the south of the National Park where our night dive in Wainilu will be a for all who critters lover.

Day 4
This day will have a slight chance to our planning and we leave early in the morning first to visit the ranger station on Rinca Island for a short trek. Rinca island is one of the rare places in Komodo you still can observe the famous Komodo dragons, the largest lizards on earth. Accompanied by a ranger, we have a chance, especially at this time of the day, to get close up with these prehistoric creatures. After returning back to Moana and a good breakfast, we plan 1 or 2 more dives (depending on your flight the next day) at Wainilu or Tengah Kecil. Our last night, on the way back to Flores, we will pass Kalong Island where we spend the night and a natural spectacle will take place every evening during sunset. A truly impressive event! Surprise!

Day 5
