Route Description - Argo Cocos Islands
This beautiful island with its breathtaking marine life, including large pelagics, guarantees an unforgettable trip.
The Cocos Island Marine Park, a world heritage site, is a crown jewel of Costa Rica and was pronounced “the most beautiful island in the world”. Spend a full 6 days diving the pinnacles around the perimeter of the Cocos Island with divers usually averaging three dives per day at depths of 18 to 30 metres. Countless fish, eels, lobsters and many other critters are residents of the hard coral reef and adjacent sand slope of Manuelita Coral Garden while the elusive rosy-lipped batfish can be found at Lobster Rock. The phenomenon of the 'bait ball' can also be observed when little bait fish seek protection by forming a spinning ball.
The MV Argo is a very intentional blend of work ship and luxury yacht. She was totally redesigned and refitted in 2008, to pamper up to 18 lucky passengers in 9 spacious, well-appointed staterooms. Fourteen well-seasoned crew look after the ship, the projects and the guest’s every need.
