Payment Policy
When you make a reservation with us its obligation free, we will check the availability of the trip and contact you to confirm your places are on hold. Usually this is within 12 hours of making your reservation. During this time, you can check your flight times based on the embark/dis-embark times on the reservation confirmation. If you want help making your booking or have any questions please feel free to contact us for some assistance.
Once we have confirmed the places are on hold you can book your flights and then confirm your booking with us. You must confirm your booking within 72 hours of the initial enquiry as stated by our reservation confirmation. After this time, we will release places or sell the place to another customer who may be on a waiting list. Waiting lists exist for popular trips and when boats have low availability or friends want to join existing travellers on a scheduled departure.
Our price guarantee ensures you pay the best price for your liveaboard. If you have seen a trip cheaper elsewhere, we will either match or beat the price. We often have special offers exclusive to us not available to our competitors so always check out our pricing. You also save by paying in your local currency due to avoiding foreign banking charges.
liveaboard-world accepts payments in eight currencies (GBP/USD/EUR/JPY/HKD/AUD/NZD/CAD). When you make a payment, you should not receive any foreign exchange or credit card charges as long as your payment card matches the currency you have chosen to pay for your trip in. We charge the amount shown in your local currency and your balance due will be as stated in your local currency. This fixes the price of your liveaboard at the time of booking with no currency risk. All payments are securely processed with our payment partner SagePay. All payments are processed using PCI DSS compliant technology.
